My purpose is to provide the transformative experience of therapy, and spark the change so many people seek.
Born and raised in New York, I lived in Brooklyn before making my way to Los Angeles in 2018. I spent over a decade working in production before transitioning into my second career as a therapist. That shift was deeply personal - working through my own trauma in therapy became a transformative experience, sparking my passion for supporting others on their healing journeys.
Outside of sessions, I’m a new mom, movie enthusiast, and avid podcast listener. I love catching films at retro theaters around LA, taking in an improv show, or exploring new neighborhoods with my little family - including our rescue pup, Norman.
I proudly identify as an ally to the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities and strive to create a welcoming, affirming space for all.
Experience & Training
I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, where my studies emphasized how trauma impacts the body, mind, and spirit. My training was rooted in understanding the complex ways trauma can overwhelm a person’s system and how healing requires a holistic, compassionate approach.
Throughout my clinical journey, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals across a range of settings. I provided free online therapy to people across California in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, offered weekly therapy at a nonprofit community mental health clinic, and worked in a residential treatment center providing care to individuals experiencing high-acuity mental health challenges.
My clinical training includes:
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Somatic Interventions for Trauma from the Sensorimotor Perspective
Stan Tatkin’s Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Previous Work Experience
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in VFX and animation studios in NYC and LA. As a producer, I thrived in high-pressure environments bringing creative, technical, and business minds together. I also saw how the nonstop demands of the industry often led to anxiety, burnout, and imposter syndrome.
My experience in that world helps me deeply understand the challenges creative professionals face. I bring that perspective into my work, helping clients find relief, self-compassion, and a greater sense of balance.
